The law firm of Sinas, Dramis, Brake, Boughton & McIntyre, P.C. (commonly referred to as the Sinas Dramis Law Firm) is located in Lansing, Michigan and has been in existence since 1951. It is a medium size law firm which focuses most of its practice in the field of personal injury law. The Firm also represents clients in family law and commercial litigation matters. Members of the Firm have actively served the legal profession in various capacities. Three (3) partners, George T. Sinas, Bryan J. Waldman and the late Lee C. Dramis have served as Presidents of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association; two (2) partners, George T. Sinas and Timothy J. Donovan, have served as Chairs of the State Bar Negligence Law Section; and one former partner, Donald L. Reisig was President of the State Bar of Michigan. Several attorneys from the Firm have served as adjunct law school professors and have testified before the Michigan Legislature in matters dealing with personal injury and insurance law issues. George T. Sinas
Mr. Sinas is a senior shareholder in the Sinas Dramis Law Firm and limits his full time practice to the representation of seriously injured people. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1972 with high honors and his law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1975 with honors. He has also served as President of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and as Chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan Negligence Law Section.
Mr. Sinas has been recognized in the 1989 to 2005 editions of “The Best Lawyers in America,” in the field of plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation. He was also selected as one of “Michigan’s Most Influential Lawyers” in 1990 and in 1991 in a survey conducted by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. In 2003, Mr. Sinas received the Ingham County Bar Association Leo A. Farhat Outstanding Attorney Award. Later that same year, he was recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as one of Michigan’s 10 Lawyers of the Year for 2003. In 2005, he received the "Professional Service Award" from the Brain Injury Association of Michigan for his advocacy on behalf of persons suffering serious brain injury. Mr. Sinas is also the author of a widely read case law annotation textbook commonly referred to as the “No-Fault Red Book” and formally entitled “Michigan No-Fault Auto Insurance Decisions.” He has also written several professional articles dealing with personal injury and auto no-fault litigation and has testified before the Michigan Legislature several times regarding those matters. For a number of years Mr. Sinas served as a member of the Michigan Supreme Court Committee on Standard Civil Jury Instructions and as teaching faculty for the Michigan Judicial Institute. Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he teaches a course on the Michigan auto no-fault law. Timothy J. Donovan
Mr. Donovan received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his law degree Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He has lectured and participated in numerous educational programs sponsored by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education and Michigan Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) regarding personal injury law. Since 1985, Mr. Donovan has provided substantial assistance to his partner, George T. Sinas, in the writing and editing of the "No-Fault Red Book". He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) and Michigan Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA). From 1982 - 1992, Mr. Donovan served on the Executive Board of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. In 1993, he was appointed to the Negligence Law Council for the State Bar of Michigan and in 1999 was elected its chairperson. Michael E. Larkin
Mr. Larkin received his bachelor's degree in 1979 from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree in 1982 from the University of Arizona. Mr. Larkin practiced with a nationally known personal injury law firm in Tucson, Arizona from 1982 - 1987, before joining the Sinas Dramis Law Firm in 1988. Mr. Larkin has frequently lectured concerning personal injury litigation. He is currently a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) and served on the Executive Board of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) from 1992 to 1996. James F. Graves
Mr. Graves received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1969 and his law degree Cum Laude from Wayne State University in 1972. He is a past President of the Ingham County Bar Association, founding Board Member and President of the Ingham County Bar Foundation, State Bar of Michigan Access to Justice Fund Regional Chair, a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation and a member of the State Bar of Michigan Judicial Qualifications Committee. Mr. Graves received the Ingham County Bar Association Leo A. Farhat Outstanding Attorney Award in 2004. Mr. Graves has also been recognized in the 12th edition of "The Best Lawyers in America" in the field of plaintiff's personal injury litigation. His professional memberships also include the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, and the Michigan State Bar Negligence Law Section. Bryan J. Waldman
Mr. Waldman received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his law degree from Wayne State University. In 2003-2004, he served as President of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Waldman is recognized in the current edition of "The Best Lawyers in America" in the specialty of personal injury and was selected to be included in the 2006 publication of "Michigan Super Lawyers" in the practice area of plaintiffs' personal injury. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, and Crime Victims Bar Association. Steven A. Hicks
Mr. Hicks is a graduate of the University of Michigan (A.B., 1989) and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., 1992). He is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Illinois. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. He also sits on the Council of the Negligence Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Hicks is a member of the American Bar Association, the ABA Tort and Insurance Practice Section, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Ingham County Bar Association, and the Eaton County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan. Mr. Hicks specializes in providing legal representation to injured or disabled persons. James M. Hofer
Mr. Hofer received his bachelor's degree from Benedictine College in 1989 and his law degree Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993. While in law school, Mr. Hofer was an associate editor for the Cooley Law Review and served as co-chairperson for the Scholastic Review Board. Since 1994, Mr. Hofer has been practicing law in the State of Michigan serving as a trial lawyer specializing in the field of personal injury litigation. Mr. Hofer's trial work includes automobile negligence, premises liability, dog attacks, nursing home litigation and no-fault insurance claims. Mr. Hofer is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA) and the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) where he currently is a member of the executive board. Carrie Kennedy

Ms. Kennedy received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1992, and her law degree Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1996.  While in law school, Ms. Kennedy was managing editor for the Cooley Law Review.  She was a member of the Scholastic Review Board, the Moot Court Board and the Student Senate.  She was also a recipient of the Corpus Juris Secundum Award in the area of Contracts I.  Following her admittance to the State Bar of Michigan, Ms. Kennedy worked for three years practicing commercial litigation and has specialized in the area of No-Fault Insurance Law since 1999.  She is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association.  You can contact Ms. Kennedy at carriekennedy@sinasdramis.com




Bernard F. Finn
Mr. Finn received his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University and his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1976. He has been elected to offices in both the state and local bar associations. He is a member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and the Michigan State Bar Foundation. Since 2001 Bernie has been recognized in each edition of "The Best Lawyers in America", in the field of domestic relations law. Janet A. Bradley
Ms. Bradley received her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.  She is a member of the Family Law and Children's Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan, and is also a member of the Ingham County Bar Association.  Ms. Bradley is a presenter/facilitator for Focus on the Children, a program for parents going through divorce and custody proceedings. Ms. Bradley's practice is primarily focused on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and abuse/neglect cases. Prior to joining the Sinas Dramis Law Firm, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Janelle A. Lawless, a Family Court Judge in Ingham

Kenneth G. McIntyre (Of Counsel)
Mr. McIntyre received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and his law degree from the University of Kansas. He has worked as a trial attorney with the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and as an assistant United States attorney in Detroit, MI. In 1970, he was appointed by the President's Commission on Campus Unrest to coordinate the investigation of the Kent State University National Guard shootings.
