The Sinas Dramis Law Firm is pleased to announce that Catherine (“Katie”) E. Tucker has joined the firm as an associate attorney in the Lansing office.

Katie will concentrate her practice on personal injury matters, including representing patients and medical providers in disputes with insurance companies over the payment of PIP benefits under Michigan’s auto no-fault law.

Katie has been practicing law since 2012. In March 2016, she received the Ingham County Bar Association’s (ICBA) “Top 5 Under 35 Award,” given annually to five young lawyers in recognition of their talents, skills, professionalism and civility in the profession.

Currently, Katie serves as president of the ICBA’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS). She is also an ex officio member of the ICBA and the Ingham County Bar Foundation (ICBF). Recently, she was appointed vice president of the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM).

Born and raised in East Lansing, Katie earned her undergraduate degree, with high honor, in economics from Michigan State University and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, she received an Academic Excellence Scholarship and several Jurisprudence Achievement Awards, and also served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Animal & Natural Resource Law.

In her spare time, Katie is active in her church and volunteers with the St. John Food Cupboard and the Haven House.
