The Sinas Dramis Law Firm was founded in 1951 when Thomas G. Sinas opened his law practice in downtown Lansing and was joined a few months later by his good friend, Lee C. Dramis. Richard J. Brake joined the firm in 1954 and helped establish it as a well-respected, small law firm. In 1964, Barry Boughton joined the firm, followed later by Kenneth G. McIntyre in 1969. In 1976, former Ingham County Chief Circuit Judge Donald L. Reisig joined the firm, further enhancing its reputation in the legal community. In 1980, Mr. Reisig was elected to serve as President of the State Bar of Michigan.

Presently, the law firm consists of the following 12 full-time practicing attorneys:  George T. Sinas, Timothy J. Donovan, Bernard F. Finn, Michael E. Larkin, James F. Graves, Bryan J. Waldman, James M. Hofer, Janet A. Mendez, and Stephen H. Sinas, Joel T. Finnell, Daniel E. Moraniec, and Richard L. Merpi II.

Over the last 60 years, the Sinas Dramis Law Firm has developed an excellent statewide reputation in the field of personal injury law. The Firm’s competence in that area of law is reflected by the fact that three of its attorneys (Lee C. Dramis, George T. Sinas, and Bryan J. Waldman) served as President of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, now known as the Michigan Association for Justice; two members of the Firm (George T. Sinas and Timothy J. Donovan) served as Chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan, Negligence Law Section; and five of the Firm’s attorneys (George T. Sinas, Timothy J. Donovan, James F. Graves, Barry D. Boughton, and Bryan J. Waldman) have been listed in the national publication, “The Best Lawyers in America,” in the field of personal injury litigation.

The Sinas Dramis Law Firm also is well known in the field of domestic relations law. In that regard, law firm attorney Bernard F. Finn has been recognized by the “Best Lawyers in America” in the field of family law.

In addition to their many achievements in the private practice of law, the lawyers at the Sinas Dramis Law Firm have been active participants in countless legal education activities, including authoring legal textbooks and publishing numerous professional articles, serving as law school faculty, and testifying before the Michigan Legislature.
